Most students find this course introduces them to what quickly becomes a passion as they examine theories behind crystal healing, explore the use of crystals for analysis, elixirs, gridding and learn a variety of healing techniques that can be used on their own or incorporated into a holistic healing session.

Duration:
Minimum of 4 months and a maximum of one year. 

Commencement:
Applicants may enrol at any time.

The minimum fee includes the Crystal healing CD manual; Energy healing supplement module; Clinical practice supplement module; Crystal properties E-book and Healing reference guide; crystal affirmation cards and a complimentary college notepad. 

The full fee includes all of the above study materials plus the crystal kit. A varied selection of crystals will be required in order for students to complete this certificate. Students have the option of purchasing a crystal kit from the school (by paying the full fee) or using their own existing crystals.

Crystal kits consist of:

1 Amethyst Druze, 1 satin spar, 1 quartz pendulum, 2 wands plus a varied selection of rough, polished and shaped minerals for healing, gridding and personal development. The quantity and type of minerals will vary in each crystal kit subject to availability and quality at the time of purchase. A typical selection may include:

Agate, amazonite, amethyst, apache tears, apophyllite, aragonite, aventurine, bloodstone, botswana agate, blue calcite, carnelian, chrysoprase, citrine, purple fluorite, green fluorite, hematite, howlite, jasper, kyanite, lapis lazuli, lepidolite, mookaite, moonstone, obsidian, picasso stone, prehnite, quartz points, rhodonite, rose quartz, rutilated quartz, sardonyx, shiva lingham, smoky quartz, sodalite, tiger's eye, tiger iron, tourmaline, unakite, vogesite and zebra stone.

*Course fees with crystal kit for students outside of Australia and New Zealand is $975.

CD Manuals: The manuals are very comprehensive, have a flexible weekly study schedule and are comprised of a balance of theory and practical activities. Meditations are delivered on sound files within the manuals so that you are able to take yourself through each meditation. Activities are delivered in a step by step process and where relevant are accompanied by video clips making them easy to follow for students of all levels. 

Supplements: Supplements 2.1 Energy Healing & 5.1 Clinical Practice are included with this certificate course at no extra charge. These are study partners for the crystal healing module, providing correspondence students with healing and practise foundations relevant to certificate level.

Tutorial Assistance: Written feedback and guidance is provided to students each time they submit their assessment activities and any time they have questions pertaining to their course.

Optional Extras: Students that do not purchase the crystal kit will require the three optional extras - quartz pendulum, satin spar and amethyst cluster for this certificate along with a crystal wand and a large varied selection of crystals for healing. The optional extras can be purchased via the enrolment form or from your local crystal or new age store.

Currency: All course fees are in Australian dollars. A payment option is available for overseas students. All payments are non refundable.

Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites for the certificate courses. However Reiki, or a similar hands on healing workshop may be helpful for students that have no experience in energy healing.

Advancement: Students that successfully complete this certificate will receive credit for the Crystal Healing module should they wish to continue their studies with the Diploma in Complementary Therapies or the Dual Diploma in Complementary Therapies and Holistic Counselling.

Accreditation: All correspondence courses offered by Natural Energies College are recognised by the International Institute of Complementary Therapists and Nationally Accredited with the Australian Holistic Healers and Counsellors Association, enabling graduates to obtain membership with the AHHCA and gain practitioner insurance in order to practise professionally.

Minimum PC system requirements for CD Manuals: 512mb memory RAM; Adobe Reader 7.0 or later (Adobe reader can be downloaded free from the internet); CD-ROM drive; Sound Card; a Media Player eg. Windows Media Player or Quicktime (media players can be downloaded free from the internet).

What type of assessment activities do I need to complete with this course? Assessment activities are designed to assist you in developing the necessary skills of a healer. The majority of assigned work will be practical. You will need to practise your new skills on friends or family as well as engaging in self analysis and self healing activities.

Therefore whilst you are learning, you are also creating a happier, healthier life for yourself and your loved ones. By doing so, you also become a positive role model for your clients as well as developing an empathy towards the processes that you will be taking your clients through.

Are there exams?
You will complete an open book exam (in your home) at the end of your course plus a clinical practice exam comprising of two case studies.

What is involved in the clinical practice exam?
The clinical practice exam requires you to take two volunteer clients through weekly healing sessions for a minimum of 7 weeks each. You will have supervision and guidance via phone or email to assist you with planning and facilitating your case study sessions. The aim of the clinical practice exam is to provide you with experience in your chosen field and to build your confidence in working as a holistic healer. Your clinical practice exam is conducted in your own home or at a wellbeing centre in your local area.
