Diploma in Holistic Counselling

Working with the philosophy of balance, this course combines esoteric and alternative health practices with traditional counselling techniques; bringing together the best of alternative and mainstream wellbeing for the mind, heart and soul.

This is a practical and indepth course that dives right into the heart of issues that are experienced by people from all walks of life; from letting go to creating happiness; from preventing stress to finding peace; from heartbreak to joyous relationships; and self discovery to understanding humanity.

The Diploma in Holistic Counselling is designed to give students the tools and confidence to counsel themselves and clients to better health and wellbeing, happiness and fulfilment in all areas of their life. The course is nationally accredited by the Australian Holistic Healers and Counsellors Association, providing students with the professional qualifiication and title of 'Holistic Counsellor' upon graduation.

 DURATION:

Minimum of one year and a maximum of 2 years.

A one year extension may be granted upon written request.

COMMENCES: Students may enrol at any time.

COURSE PARTICULARS:

COURSE STRUCTURE: Home study with tutorial assistance via phone and email.

STUDY MATERIALS: 6 CD manuals, an amethyst cluster*, satin spar crystal*, pendulum* and a complimentary college notepad.

* These healing implements are optional. Please see Course fees for further information.

Manuals are in CD (pdf) format and accompanied by diagrams, pictures, video (to enable you to watch the healing techniques, step by step); and sound clips (to enable you to fully exprerience the guided meditations). The manuals are very comprehensive, easy to follow and include a flexbile weekly study schedule.


COURSE FEE OPTIONS

FULL COURSE PAYMENT: $2350 payable upon enrolment (includes $200 discount)

Students paying in instalments will receive each module upon payment.

Optional extras: Module 2 requires use of 3 healing implements. Students have the option of purchasing these implements (cost $40) along with thier module 2 enrolment.  Optional extra 3 on the enrolment form is recommended for module 1 but is not essential. PREREQUISITES:

Reiki I & II (or equivalent)* are prerequisites for the Diploma course. These certificates may be completed prior to or during the Diploma course. Students may choose their own Reiki teacher /school from thier local area.

* An equivalent level of hands on healing (energy based) study may be accepted in substitute of the Reiki Certificates. Accepted substitutes include Pranic Healing, Sekhem and Therapeutic Touch. Other similar levels of energy healing may be considered upon written request.

A copy of your Reiki I and II (or equivalent) certificates must be submitted to the school prior to commencement of Module 5.

Module 1 Holistic Counselling I

Focusing on traditional and holistic counselling techniques for awareness, empowerment, guidance and healing. This module is divided into three main sections - Holistic Living - delving into the mind, body, heart and spirit; Meditation - learning to facilitate various forms and style of meditation for individuals and groups; and Counselling - understanding the mind and it's contribution to health and happiness and exploring skills and processes that students can incorporate into holistic healing sessions.

In this comprehensive module we examine the subtle energies that support and connect the mind, body and spirit. This is combined with exploration of the soul, encouraging the student to uncover their intuitive and spiritual strengths and learn practical methods for refining and expanding their skills in this area. Explore esoteric signs and messages; make your own runes, learn to read a coffee cup, conduct rituals, manifest, discover the laws of the universe, meet your guides and totem animals, explore magical lunar energy and more. This module contains a myriad of esoteric topics, each practical, creative, detailed and enjoyable.

ENROLMENT AND COURSE FEES SCHEDULE

Enrolment option 1:
Download, print and complete your enrolment form (using the fees schedule as a guide). Then scan your enrolment form and send it as an attachment in an email to 
admin@naturalenergies.com.au

Enrolment option 2: Download, print and complete your enrolment form. Then post it to The Science of Natural Energies, PO Box 20 Clarinda Victoria 3169.

Payment option 1: Make your payment via internet banking (or in person at a Westpac bank). Please include your name in the transaction to allow us to identify your payment. Where possible, attach a bank confirmation of payment with your enrolment form. (banking details can be found on the enrolment form)

Payment option 2: Make your payment via cheque or money order. Please make cheques payable to the Science of Natural Energies. Post your cheque/money order with your enrolment form to the address above.

Once your enrolment is received by the college, we will send an email confirmation of your enrolment. Your study materials will then be sent to you within two weeks.

DUAL DIPLOMA

If you want to hold dual qualifications as a Complementary Therapist and Holistic Counsellor, you can save money and time by combining the two Diploma courses together. This means that you will only need to complete 8 modules instead of 12 plus additional clinical practise hours. Students that pay upfront for all 8 modules receive a discount. * All courses are nationally accredited with the Australian Holistic Healers and Counsellors Association, enabling graduates to obtain membership with the AHHCA and gain pracitioner insurance in order to practise professionally.
