This course has allowed me to explore more of myself - to get to know myself and to understand myself more. The most useful tool for me was learning how to change my core beliefs.
This has been so empowering.
Where I'm at right now is that I truly believe that once we know and understand ourselves more, and we take the time and effort to do that, we can then understand others in a way that we never thought was possible.
I also realise that this journey to know more of myself is sometimes nothing to do with doing and attaining, but about letting go.

Is this course suitable for beginners or advanced students?
Modules are presented with methods that accommodate and support all levels from beginners to intermediate and advanced. A varied
structure of topics, theory and activities allow beginners to adjust at a gradual and comfortable pace whilst providing advanced
students with innovative, stimulating activities, thought provoking discussion and the support and guidance to fine tune areas
of previous study whilst gaining new skills.
What type of homework do we receive?
Assessment activities are designed to assist you in developing the necessary
skills of a healer. The majority of assigned work will be practical. Upon practising each activity, you will then type up a
brief summary of the activity; your observations and the outcome and submit this to the college via email.
You will need to practise your new skills on friends or family as well as engaging in self analysis and self healing activities. Therefore whilst you are learning, you are also creating a happier, healthier life for yourself and your loved ones. By doing so, you also become a positive role model for your clients as well as developing an empathy towards the processes that you will be taking your clients through.
Note: Due to the Covid 19, we are asking those students that are in lockdown, are self isolating or limiting their social contact - for the time being - to only practise techniques on those people that they live with. Relevant activities can also be adapted so that they are conducted via Skype/phone or conducted on self instead of a volunteer. We will be making allowances and exercising flexibility in study for the duration of social distancing.
How often do I need to submit work?
Assessment activities must be submitted monthly (at least). If you are unable to submit work for a particular month, that's
fine as long as you notify the college via email prior to or during the month in question. The college will provide you with
a recommended quota of activities to submit each month; however you can increase (up to 9) or decrease (down to 1) this quota
to suit your lifestyle. If you submit less than the recommended monthly quota, then it is just a matter of catching up in other
months.
Do I need to attend classes on campus at any time during the course?
No, the entire diploma course is delivered via home study. Tutorial assistance is available via email. Students will submit their work via email.
Are there exams?
You will complete an online open book multiple choice exam (in your home) for each module plus a clinical practice exam comprising
of one case study.
What is involved in the clinical practice case study exam?
The clinical practice exam requires you to take one volunteer client through weekly healing sessions for 7 weeks. You will
have supervision and guidance via email to assist you with planning and facilitating your case study sessions. The aim of the
clinical practice exam is to provide you with experience in your chosen field and to build your confidence in working as a
holistic counsellor. The case study healing sessions are conducted in your own home or at a well-being centre in your local
area.
A challenging, yet heartfelt journey of learning, understanding and healing.
A leap of faith into the unknown; trusting, exploring, discovering how I am and who I am in this world and in relationships.
Owning, appreciating and loving all aspects of myself.
